introduction

So after a couple test posts with some actual events, it’s time to make this thing official and call it a blog already! But, I must say that this blog wouldn’t be what it is, had I not stumbled upon Theresa at blogsforphotogs. Seriously, if you are ever in need of a spiffy, shiny and custom blog or blogsite, Theresa is your girl! She is good stuff and I feel like I hit the jackpot with her. I had been blog-stalking for quite some time, trying to figure out how I wanted my own site to function and look and how to go about coding and custom-designing my own template in WordPress. I randomly came across blogsforphotogs on the bottom of one of the many sites and after reading through her website and her services, I contacted her and it was an instant connection and collaboration. Theresa was able to take my designed mock-up and all my thoughts on how I wanted it to function and made it all come to life. I originally set out to learn how to do all this coding stuff on my own with the help of Lynda.com and WordPress for Dummies, but after re-doing my website and spending many hours re-learning flash and action script, I was more than willing to find someone who could do this coding thing with more ease. I couldn’t be happier with it! I look forward to documenting this journey through my “creative lens” and hope you enjoy looking and reading along with me. Let the blogging fun begin!

This year I decided to pull some of my fellow teammates to pose for a goofy photo shoot. Here’s what I got…
