mike + cecilia = married in the city of brotherly love

Where do I even begin?! This wedding was not only extra special because it was back in Philadelphia and close to home and my family (which always makes me happy), but it was the union of two great friends, who I’ve been fortunate to have gotten to know over the past 6 years. And when you have two great people come together, that of course means they come from fantastic families, who have pretty cool friends, which of course equals a fun and memorable day by all. I was extremely honored to document Cecilia and Mike’s day from start to finish, as it was filled with both tiny and big moments, with all those that are near and dear and it painted an even more detailed picture of their paralleling lives and love story. A very cool thing about where the wedding was held, was that Mike’s grandparents were married in the rectory of the same church and we captured a photo of Mike and Cecilia in the rectory doorway in the same spot where his Grandparents had their picture taken. You can see them holding that very photo in the same spot where they stood. Cecilia hung all the family’s wedding photos on the end of the pews, which was a special touch. That wasn’t the only special touch. Being two ridiculously good designers, these two sure know how to bring all the designed details together so nicely, which made for a beautiful, cohesive look for their wedding. Cecilia, you looked stunning and friends, I wish you two a lifetime of happiness and love. I look forward to the many more years of friendship, fun times and memories!
