ADORABLE is what this brother/sister duo is and they happen to be my boyfriend’s nephew and niece. I get to see these two quite a bit and boy, did they come dressed and ready to impress me and my camera. Impress they did and I couldn’t stop snapping these cuties as you will see, it’s more than I usually post, but seriously…look at them. I think Bailey found her calling, as she just works it for the camera with her curly brown locks, blue eyes and missing front teeth. Elliot likes trains and when I say “like,” I mean LOVE and let’s just say, what a treat it was for him to get as close as he did to a real train for the first time. He was super pumped and it was all around a good day together. Jana is truly blessed with these two, even when they have the occasional brother vs. sister tiffs, they clearly love each-other and their pretty momma!
It’s been special to capture all the big moments that these two have shared throughout the past few years. How quickly time and life move along. It started with the celebration of their engagement, followed by their beautiful barn wedding and now just months before their new addition arrives. Lindsay & Donavan are expecting in January and Lindsay looks cute as you would expect, with her little baby girl bump. They aren’t ready to share the name, but maybe just the first letter to her name. So happy for you two and can’t wait to meet her. She is a lucky little lady who will be loved and adored by two great people.
It was the second annual KC Pumpkin Patch event for the Turner, Wear and Associates Team with Ameriprise that I documented and it was just as fun as the first, seeing all the kids run around excited about cider donuts, pumpkins and the numerous activities the patch had to offer. What a great way to burn off all that energy kids tend to have and for the whole family to soak in a perfect fall day together. Another successful year and some new faces and returning faces! Thanks again for the opportunity, Cathy, Brandon and Scott!
Nicholas is quite the put-together little fella, dressed in his tie, collard shirt and hat. We managed to get a session in after a weekend of rain and it was a good thing, for this handsome man has been growing so quickly that we didn’t want to risk this cute little outfit not fitting. We were also trying to get a session squeezed in before all the pretty leaves were off the trees and I think you’ll see we hit Loose Park the perfect weekend with the color. Last time Jen and Arturo were highlighted on my blog, it was with Nicholas in Jen’s belly, so I’m so happy to share with you the new addition to their happy family. Congratulations, friends!
Two sisters, their hubbies, three cutie pies, the family dog, and two lucky grandparents all gathered for a fun session after a rainy and cold fall day. We originally planned to all meet in Weston, but with tentative weather, we were kept on our toes for plan B. Luckily we all had the flexibility to make it happen and to meet at a park close by. After much coaxing, the sun decided to come out and we had much to capture while the leaves still had their vibrant color. We managed to capture the various relationships within this fun-loving, beautiful family as we walked along a trail. I hope these pictures will be cherished for many years and generations to come.
