Allison & Chris
Allison and Chris, two beautiful people who met in band at Missouri State, tied the knot at the very accommodating and charming event space, Studio B, in the Crossroads of downtown Kansas City. It was a lovely, intimate ceremony and reception, on an above-average-temperature spring day, celebrated with a fun group of people. These two were beaming with love for eachother and I was so honored to be the one to capture their day. Congrats you two and best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness together!
Riga and Quent: Courthouse Wedding
Another “first” to document on my blog and how lucky was I to be able to photograph my first courthouse wedding, of this glowing-with-love couple, who decided to tie the knot, on yet another gorgeous 70 degree day in March. Riga and Quent said their vows in the intimate company of both sets of parents, in the cute little downtown of Independence, Missouri. Riga looked stunning and beautiful, on what was a low-stress, care-free, sunny, warm and breezy kinda day. Her parents traveled half-way across the world from Thailand, for this special day, and Quent’s flew in from Arizona. It certainly was a special day that will be remembered, as these two lovebirds start their lives together. They even placed a “lifetime warranty” lock, inscribed with their initials and date, on the gate of the restaurant they celebrated over lunch, along with all the other locks of wedded couples. Congratulations you two and best of wishes!
it’s a fresh air farm wedding! lindsay & donavan=married
Lindsay and Donavan couldn’t have had a more gorgeous day to get married in Kansas City. It was one of those days you wake up and think, this is a picture perfect day and being a photographer, I was pretty excited about all the pictures to come. I think you’ll be able to tell how picturesque this day really was, as you scroll through and see the love, happiness and excitement that was exuding from not only the handsome and beautiful mr. and mrs., but all their loved ones and dear friends. Not to mention the colorful, designerly details that were sprinkled throughout that made this wedding feel extra special. Is this not a classy, fun, good-looking group of people or what? Needless to say, I had a blast and felt like I was part of the group, longer than just a day. I am privileged to have had the opportunity and so happy for you both. Congratulations, Lindsay and Donavan!

This wedding was shot on the beautiful grounds and 100 year-old, restored barn of Fresh Air Farm.
Dan & Josie = hitched!
That’s right, these two love birds are hitched and it’s pretty clear they are dang happy about it when you look through these photos and see that twinkle in their eyes! The day got started off right with a healthy down pour, ya know for that extra re-assurance that they would live a long, happy life together. As if they need any old wives tale about rain on their wedding day to foretell the happy years to come. I think what was more impressive is that mother nature switched off the rain button every time we were ready to move outside and switched it back on when we were back inside. That was really sweet of her to do especially for Josie’s hair and dress and for my camera’s sake. Their day was so perfectly intimate and I felt as if I knew both of their families way before meeting them that weekend of August 12th, when it was all said and done. Watching two amazing families come together and feeling almost like a fly on the wall while taking it all in with my camera, is truly good stuff and life just seems right and beautiful. I think these two did pretty well for themselves, meeting each-other “the old fashion way” in a bar. You guys have been great friends and I want to say, congratulations and thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your day for you and all the generations to follow, to look back on for years to come.

This is a sneak peak of the beautiful, intimate wedding of my two friends, Josie & Dan. They were overflowing with so much joy and love yesterday and I was the lucky, privileged one to capture it all through my lens! You two have incredible friends and families. Fresh Air Farm with Lindsay & Donovan’s family
I joined Lindsay, Donovan and their families at the Fresh Air Barn, where they have decided to tie the knot the first weekend of October. They asked if I wanted to come along to meet everyone and check out the venue that I’ll be photographing at for their big day! I really enjoyed meeting their families and they even all got together to push my car out from being stuck in a snowy, icy driveway that I managed to get stuck on. No big deal. But I must go on about this barn! What a great, beautiful spot to host a fall wedding. It’s got a great set-up for such the occasion and I’m really honored they asked me to capture their big day!
